Developed over years by instructor Robert Lynds, Dojang is the 21st century way of learning a discipline which enhances your body, mind and soul.

And if you're an adult wanting to take control of your fitness and build flexibility, lose weight, and gain balance, we have a Vancouver martial arts program that's right for you.

Master Robert Lynds started his training in Shotokan Karate at the age of 7. In 2003, he founded Dojang Studios in Vancouver, BC.

 

 

Kids Ages 4 - 9

The Dojang martial arts kids program and curriculum focus on flexibility, balance and ground work (rolling, falling, and tumbling). Our program is all about activity and love of exercise, coordination, fun, friendship, and respect. This is a belt level program with all aspects of martial arts training.

Youth Ages 10 -16

A more intensive program for youth, with greater focus on skill & technique.

The Youth program is for ages 10-15, and is based on a more disciplined and intensive curriculum with greater focus on skill & technique. This system is meant to complement other elements in one's life and will improve confidence, ability, concentration and well-being. This is a great age to develop courtesy, kindness, and respect.

Adults

Martial arts system blending hapkido, karate, muay thai boxing, ju-jitsu, sword training and self-sefence.

The Dojang martial arts program for adults takes place in a safe, friendly, and goal-oriented environment. A combination of hapkido, self-defence, ground work, muay thai boxing, and sword training, this program is a fabulous way to stay or get in excellent shape, while learning something new and having fun at the same time.

Martial arts builds strong bodies and minds and has continuously been cited as one of the best ways to improve health and fitness, improve concentration, coordination, flexibility, balance, aerobic and anaerobic fitness. This is a belt level program with all aspects of martial arts training.
